About us

Peterborough Arena was the exciting new name given to this amazing venue in March 2012. It marks a rebranding exercise and fresh launch for the venue to springboard it into the next decade and beyond.

Already the location of choice for many of the major indoor and outdoor events and shows, we want to see it grow further as it becomes the region’s premier multi-purpose events venue and a key location on the UK events map. For an online version of our brochure, click here.

Peterborough Arena is situated at the East of England Showground – a site which has a rich history of staging agricultural and county shows.

Peterborough Arena is extremely proud of its heritage. Our home, the showground, is owned by the East of England Agricultural Society which is a charity supporting farming locally and nationally.

All profits made at the venue are donated back to the Society and used to support agriculture, farming and rural life in general.

The showground moved to the site in 1971 and hosts a calendar of agricultural-focused events throughout the year.
